These terms cover both the Pumping Schedule website (pumpingschedule.com, "the Site") and the Pumping Schedule mobile app for iOS and Android ("the App"). Together, "the Service." By using any part of the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
This is not medical advice
Everything on the Site and in the App is informational and educational. It is not a substitute for professional medical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to your healthcare provider, lactation consultant, or pediatrician before making decisions about breastfeeding or pumping.
Content is sourced from the CDC, AAP, ACOG, NIH, and La Leche League, but medical guidelines change and we cannot guarantee every detail is current at all times. Schedules, timers, and output tracking in the App are planning tools — not clinical recommendations. Our editorial standards page explains how we research and review.
Part 1 — Website
Using the Site
Personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission — brief quotations with attribution are fine.
We may send occasional product updates related to the App. You can unsubscribe anytime. See our privacy policy for details.
Part 2 — Mobile app
Your account
You need an account to use the App. You can sign up with email and password or through Apple or Google sign-in. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. The Service is intended for adults (parents and caregivers).
Your data
Pumping sessions, feeding logs, milk volumes, and notes you enter belong to you. We store them securely in your private account and do not sell, share, or use them for advertising. You can export or delete your data at any time. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. Full details are in our privacy policy.
Subscriptions and payment
The App offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you agree to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store or Play Store settings — we cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment card details.
Acceptable use
Use the App for its intended purpose: tracking your pumping and feeding routine. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Use the App to collect data about other users
- Attempt to bypass security measures or access other users' accounts
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Push notifications
The App may send push notifications for pumping reminders and schedule alerts you configure. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Part 3 — Shared terms
Intellectual property
All content, design, code, and branding in the Service are owned by Pumping Schedule. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property. The data you enter in the App remains yours.
Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update features, or modify the Service without prior notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from service interruptions.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your App account from within the app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
Use of the Service is at your own risk. Pumping Schedule and its team are not liable for damages arising from the use of information, schedules, or tools provided through the Service. This includes — but is not limited to — decisions made based on pumping schedules, output tracking, or any content on the Site or in the App.
Changes to these terms
These terms may update as the product evolves. Material changes get a new date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will also notify App users via in-app notification or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised version.
